C.-A. Palma is associate professor of physics at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining the Institute of Physics in 2017, he worked at the TU Munich, the Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research, ETH Zurich, University College London and the University of Strasbourg, where he completed his MSc and PhD in 2010. He's the recipient of over $2 million in research grants and awards, including the Thousand Youth Talents, the CAS Frontier Research and the Sino-German NSFC grant. His current focus is on superconductivity and topological phononics of monolayer molecular devices.
